Our Christmas Trees

Our Fraser Fir trees are grown on our family farms in the beautiful mountains of Ashe County, North Carolina.

Throughout the year, our trees are carefully maintained by shearing them, mowing around them, and spraying them to eliminate pesky insects. In the late summer, our tagging team heads up the mountain to choose the very best trees it chooses to offer for the upcoming season's harvest. They place colored ribbons in the trees to mark the height of each tree. When cutting time arrives in late November, our cutting crew cut down those marked trees, bale them up, then transport down the mountain to our retail lot in Concord, North Carolina. Those colored ribbons remain in the tree- tops to help identify the heights of trees on the sales lot. You may see blue, pink, red, green and white ribbons - or your tree's first decoration!

Fraser Fir trees are the most popular evergreen trees sold in North Carolina as well as a few other states in the country. They will only flourish at higher altitudes like those in western North Carolina with copious amounts of yearly rainfall. Although some ask, Frasers will not grow in the Concord/Charlotte area; therefore, we cannot offer root-ball trees to re-plant after the season.

These gorgeous evergreen trees have a soft, pleasant-to touch feel with incomparable needle retention. They boast a lovely aroma and have strong branches to hold heavy ornaments.

Upon visiting the retail lot in Concord, you will find a wide variety of sizes and shapes from which to choose “the one.” We have trees ranging from small, tabletop or apartment size trees to some towering ones that reach 12 feet. The largest ones do tend to go early, so please consider when making shopping plans!
